I feel you. It’s midterms for me too. It’s time for us to see just how much we have learned so far. It’s time to see if we slacked off or worked hard. WAIT A MINUTE- DON’T ! Take a deep breath, go ahead – big breath in, hold it, big breath out. There you go. Doesn’t that feel better? Remember to do that often.
Midterms is only a GUIDELINE. Notice that word GUIDELINE. (Midway) It is not your grade. Just a measuring stick. Whew – relief! 🙂
If you look at it like it’s a guideline it takes the pressure off. Ok, let’s say that (now be honest with yourself) you did slack off and you have to own it. You have another 5 or so weeks to get it together. Midterms are a way to show you honestly where you stand. If you haven’t slacked, this is where you get to pat yourself on the back for all the hard work you have done.
Do your best and take this opportunity to find your weakness and strength. Be real with yourself. If you didn’t do so well, ok, the last 5 weeks is gone. You have a clean slate. DON’T WASTE IT!
